WooCommerce or Shopify — We Do Both
Not every business is the same, and neither is every e-commerce platform. We’ll help you choose the right one based on your products, budget, technical requirements and long-term growth plans — then we’ll build it properly from scratch.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce is the world’s most popular e-commerce plugin, powering over 28% of all online stores. Built on top of WordPress, it gives you complete ownership of your site, your data and your code. If you want maximum flexibility, full control over SEO and a platform that can grow with your business over many years, WooCommerce is usually our recommendation.

Shopify
Shopify is the premier hosted e-commerce platform, trusted by millions of merchants worldwide. It handles security, hosting and software updates for you, so you can focus entirely on selling. Shopify is an excellent choice if you want a fast setup, a clean management dashboard and a platform that scales effortlessly as your order volumes grow.

Everything You Need to Start Selling
Every e-commerce store we build comes fully loaded. We don’t charge extra for the essentials — your store arrives ready to take orders from day one.
Product Catalogue Setup
We configure your entire product catalogue — categories, variants, images, pricing and stock levels — so your store is populated and ready to go. Whether you have 10 products or 10,000, we’ll get them structured for a smooth shopping experience.
Payment Gateway Integration
We integrate your chosen payment provider — Stripe, PayPal, Sage Pay or Shopify Payments — and test every transaction flow to make sure customers can pay quickly and securely. PCI-compliant by default, no separate certificate needed.
Mobile-Optimised Checkout
Over 70% of online purchases start on a phone. We build checkouts that are frictionless on mobile — large tap targets, streamlined steps and Apple/Google Pay support — reducing cart abandonment and boosting your conversion rate.
Stock Management
Real-time inventory tracking so you never oversell. We configure low-stock alerts, backorder rules and out-of-stock visibility to keep your operations running smoothly without manual monitoring. Works with both simple and variable products.
SEO Product Pages
Every product page is optimised for search — clean URL structures, unique meta titles and descriptions, product schema markup and image alt text. Customers searching for what you sell will find you before they find the competition.
Delivery & Tax Rules
We set up all your shipping zones, delivery rates, free-shipping thresholds and tax rules (including UK VAT) so pricing is always accurate at checkout. From flat-rate shipping to complex tiered courier pricing — we handle the logic so you don’t have to.
How We Build Your Store
From the initial conversation to your first online sale, our five-step process keeps your project on track, on budget and on time.
Discovery
We learn about your business, your products, your customers and your competitors. We advise on the right platform and put together a full project specification and fixed-price quote.
Design
We create full design mockups showing your homepage, category pages, product pages and checkout flow. You review and feedback before a single line of code is written.
Build
We develop the store on a private staging environment, hand-coding the theme for speed and accessibility. No page builders, no bloated templates — just clean, fast code.
Products & Payments
Products are uploaded, payment gateways connected, shipping rules configured and all transactional emails tested. We check every user journey from browse to order confirmation.
Launch
We migrate to your live domain, run final speed and SEO checks, submit to Google Search Console and hand over a walkthrough guide so you can manage your store with confidence.

Questions About E-Commerce?
We’ve answered the questions we get asked most often. If yours isn’t here, give us a call or drop us a message — we’re always happy to talk through your project with absolutely no obligation.
Ask Us AnythingWooCommerce or Shopify — which should I choose?
The honest answer is: it depends on your specific situation. WooCommerce is our recommendation if you already have a WordPress site, if long-term SEO is a priority, or if you need deeply custom functionality without recurring app costs. Shopify is the better fit if you want minimal technical overhead, a very fast initial setup, and a clean dashboard you can hand to non-technical staff. We always discuss this in detail during the discovery call and give you a clear, unbiased recommendation based on your business — not on what earns us more.
How much does an online store cost to build?
Our e-commerce projects start from £1,995 for a straightforward WooCommerce or Shopify store with up to 50 products, payment integration and a fully custom design. Larger catalogues, bespoke functionality (custom product configurators, subscription billing, multi-currency etc.) or complex integrations with stock management or ERP systems will increase the investment accordingly. Every project is quoted on a fixed-price, all-inclusive basis after an initial discovery call — so there are no hourly rates, no scope creep charges and no surprise invoices.
Can you migrate my existing store to a new platform?
Yes, absolutely. We handle migrations from Magento, OpenCart, BigCommerce, old WooCommerce installs and other platforms on a regular basis. We migrate all your product data, customer records, order history and URLs (with proper 301 redirects to protect your SEO rankings). We test the migrated store thoroughly on a staging environment before touching your live site, so there’s no downtime and no data loss. Migrations are priced separately based on the volume of data and complexity involved.
Do you set up payment processing as part of the project?
Yes. Payment gateway configuration is included in every e-commerce project we take on. We work with Stripe (our usual recommendation for UK businesses), PayPal, Sage Pay, Square and — for Shopify stores — Shopify Payments. We create the merchant accounts where needed, handle the API connection and test every transaction flow, including card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay and any buy-now-pay-later providers you require (such as Klarna). You’ll never go live until we’ve run successful test purchases across all supported methods.
How do I manage my products after launch?
Once your store is live, you’ll have a straightforward dashboard to add new products, update prices, process orders, run promotions and view sales reports — all without any technical knowledge. We include a personalised walkthrough video and written guide tailored to your specific store. We also offer ongoing maintenance and support packages if you’d prefer to have us handle updates, security patches and any technical issues that arise, so you can focus entirely on running your business.
